2000 H1 Open Top Convertible | Serviced | 6.5 Turbo Diesel | Custom Upgrades

Here is a little something that is outside of our normal wheelhouse. There are those vehicles that have been built in the past that are just too cool. too rare. and too unique to pass up on. A prime example of that is our recently acquired 2000 Hummer H1 4 Door Open Top 4WD. These amazing machines are truly street legal tanks. and are some of. if not the most solid built machines to this day. Originally made to service the US Military. AM General went through strenuous tests to make sure that the soldiers driving these trucks in the Military were safe. and could get through anything. Luckily for the select few that get to buy civilian trucks like this. they carry the same traits. and characteristics as the Military trucks. except with a ton of excellent creature comforts! This H1 Convertible is finished in Gloss Black with a two tone Tan and Black Leather interior. The top is in excellent condition. and is finished in black as well. The 16. 5” Aluminum Wheels. which are an upgrade on the H1. have been professionally refinished and powder coated in Gloss Black to match. The same treatment was done to the winch fairlead. as well as the oversized brush guard. These gloss black accents really bring the truck to a new level of aggressiveness. and set it apart in a crowd. if it already doesn’t do that enough! The truck is equipped with a heavy duty winch. and all components of which work perfectly. The truck bed was just completely Rhino Lined professionally. and looks unbelievable! On the interior of the truck. the seats have been professionally refinished in Black Perforated Leather. It has the optional and extremely rare black leather Jumper seat in the rear cowl. making the truck have the capability of fitting 6 people. The stereo has been upgraded with multiple speaker sets. as well as an Alpine CD Player. with full Bluetooth capability. and iPod control. etc. The truck has a Burl Wood Dash kit which looks phenomenal. as well as the always popular MOMO Competition Steering wheel. which was an option on the truck at the time. We are happy to state that everything in the vehicle works. including the CTIS Tire Inflation System. the Gas Tank Switch. Windshield heater. and anything else that the truck has! Upon purchase. we received about $8. 00 worth of service receipts. and we still put it immediately through our shop for an entire once over. We did another $2000. 00 worth of service on the truck recently. which includes (but not limited to) a full fluid flush. 8 NEW Glow Plugs. AC Recharge. NEW LR Brake Caliper. new lines. new air vents. new Sylvania High Performance Headlights. and much more. Mechanically. this truck should be 100%. The oil pressure is on point. and there are no noticeable leaks. smoke. or hiccups in the power train. The 4WD system works perfectly. and the transmission shifts nice and firm as it is supposed to. Physically. the truck has a few flaws here and there. which is typical of something that is 15 plus years old. It is a PERFECT driver. and never ceases to amaze anyone that looks at it. I can email more detailed photos of the paint flaws. but the big issues are photographed below. There are NO rust issues on this truck. which as you probably know. is almost impossible to find on these trucks. They normally all get a little surface rust around the seam. this one is dry! A few scratches here or there. a few scratches on the bumper. and a few small tears on the interior. but besides that. it is impeccable. At fiveninedesign. we pride ourselves in only selling the best of whats to offer. and we think this truck fits the bill just fine. It has patina and character. but not enough to bother even the most discerning buyer. We have adjusted the price accordingly. and if someone was extremely anal. they could have the truck gone over. but I doubt that will be the case. We encourage PPI’s (Pre Purchase Inspections). and can direct you in the right direction to have the car inspected. Of course. you are always welcome to come inspect. and test drive the vehicle yourself!
