Description

I have too many projects so one had to go. Up for auction is a 1977 Jeep Cherokee Chief S. It is believed to be 82,000 original miles. Factory 401. This was an Oregon Jeep I purchased a year or so ago. Very little rust. Only real rust damage is on wheel lip flares in the rear which is typical for these jeeps. Nothing that isn’t repairable. Dana 44 front and rear. Looks like the carb was rebuilt and has newer exhaust and tireson older American Racing Chrome rims. Runs great and sounds mean! Here is whats been done to it since I have had it:

  • New Battery

  • New seat upholstery. Seats were originally white with plaid inserts but I had them done in solid white. (Hind sight I should have black)

  • New Carpet. Chrome on the tailgate was installed back on but I have not installed the chrome for the area behind the seats yet but I have it. Just have not had time yet.

  • Small spot in the floor was repaired when carpet was out. Floor now solid.

  • New rear speakers

  • New radio (retro radio that has jeep logo on it. Has aux imput for Mp3) It needs to be hooked up yet but brand new.

  • New master cylinder and brake booster

  • New glove box liner

  • New headliner

  • Have new marker lenses for the four corners

  • New Dome light lenses

  • New upper radiator hose, hermostat and temp sending unit.

  • New roof rack hardware and gaskets installed when the roof rack went back on.

  • Some extra parts included such as complete instrument cluster.

Feel Free to ask questions. I will answer as soon as I can. No d#*d b#@t bidders or tire kickers.

I added some pictures of the underside. A bit dirty but very solid. I also added another picture of one of the rear fender flares. This is where the only big places that will need to be repaired are. Want to be honest ant state that the fender flares will need work. Fronts not too bad rears need work. Everything else I noticed on the Jeep is pretty good. I also wanted to state that I am not interested in trades or partial trades.
