E-Type Bonnet, series II

We are doing a restoration of a 1969 OTS and started to refurbish the hood when we were offered a NOS assembly, ore in line with the quality of the restoration we are doing. This bonnet is perfectly workable and better than most sitting on non-restored e-types out there. We also have the factory shipping crate the NOS hood came in, hichsolves a biggerproblem than you might guess. These hoods are big, eavy and bulky to ship.

This bonnet came off a Primrose car, ut is mostly in primer now. There was evidence of prior minor nose repair, hich we redid. The contours are now proper and in alignment. We did not get to the sloppy bonding from previous work and evidence of minor rust in the interior panel ducting. The lower rolled edges, uckets,and wheel openings are decent, ounpleasant surprises. Louvers straight. All chrome has been removed and is not included, oris thelatch; all that is included is the metal paneling that you see in the photos.
