Engine problem makes me cringe every time I look at this thing in my yard. please tow it away. Stalled 4 or 5 times in Burger King Drive Thru then began to sound funny when I tried it for last time. Towed home and dameged to headlamp and rear lamp inprocess. Thankfully no body damage. At least 5 different mechanics have diagnosed this as everything from blocked catalytic converters to broken timing chain tensioner. . All I know is the motor rotates so far than sticks and then will go back. There were no knocks or overheating priior to problem and I had driven it several thousand miles in previous months. It is a ford engine but the local dealer does not have jag software and advised a tow to Jacksonville. 500 miles. There is no doubt in mind that the cost of tow and their strip down and analysis would be equal to or in excess of its value which I put around $4000.
