This is an excellent all-original, ow mile, trong-running example of one of Jaguar's rarest cars from the Golden Age of Jaguar.
There were only about 10,000 420's made in a two-year run, nly about half of which were LHD imports into the U.S. My 420 is the rarest with 4-speed manual and electric Overdrive; I'm told there were only about 100 made.
The 420 shares the same 4.2 liter DOHC engine used by the XKE; combined with manual transmission, his car goes like a bat out of Hell. Super fun to drive, nd oh-so-stylish.
This car has 86,000 original miles. Sold new in San Francisco, t has spent it's entire life in California and Idaho. The car is completely rust-free, resh and clean. Mechanically 100%, ompletely drip-free and dry. As my 80-year-old master Jag mechanic, ho has worked on Jags since the early 1960's, ays of the car: "it needs nothing".
Original color paint with a high-quality respray three years old. Always garaged.
Options include power steering, verdrive; does not have A/C or radio.
This is a great driver & solid #2 survivor collectible.
