Description

This is a very solid car and the conversion is well sorted, I purchased the car with a bad engine and had intentions of repairing the engine, but decided to do the Chevy conversion instead. The Jaguar Specialties conversion kit was used and installed just as instructions directed and allgaugeswork as normal. The chassis was and is inexcellentcondition, there is notcorrosionand the interior is in great condition, the car was repainted about a year ago and looks very good. The LS1 engine and 4L60E transmission that was installed was purchased as a complete dropout from a 1999 Chevy Camaro with 75,000 miles, the engine was super clean (removed valve covers, and oil pan). The heat and AC system works (ac has remote switch for compressor engage). Theconvertibletop is inexcellentcondition with noripsorabrasions, alllights and windows work normal. Factory radio works, but liquid crystal display is difficult to read (speakers are weak), The factory wheels are in good condition and the tires have less than 5k on them.Car is for sale locally and auction may be ended early if sold...buyer with arrange a pay all shipping charges (I will assist as much as possible).

Themileagenumbers in the description (85,000) is what the odometer is showing (thegauge cluster was changed), as I looked at the title it shows 123,000...(LS1 and 4L60Emileageis correct as stated). Also I forgot to mention that the assembly manual used for the conversion will be included...has notes to supplement any variations done during conversion.

Question that was asked, that might be helpful to others: "I AM CONFUSED, ARE YOU SAYING 85000 PLUS THE 75000 MILES THAT WAS WAS ON THE MOTOR WHEN INSTALLED FOR A TOTAL OF 160000 MILES ON THE MOTOR. I TAKE IT YOU SET THE MILEAGE BACK TO ZERO AT TIME OF INSTALLATION OF THE MOTOR. I AM INTERESTED IN THE CAR, BUT WOULD LIKE TO CLARIFY TOTAL MILES ON THE MOTOR. DID YOU DO THE SWAP YOURSELF OR HAD IT DONE? THANK'S, M.C"
My response: Thanks for the question and sorry for the confusion...the gauge assembly that was installed had ~85,000 miles and it was not reset tozero, the engine and transmission had ~75,000 miles when installed. I've driven the car ~3,000 miles since the conversion. Most of the install I did myself...the ECU and wiring harness was sent out for rework and the exhaust was done by an exhaust shop. Sorry for any confusion...(didn't click the correct button to let the question and answer be viewed...thought it needed to be shared)
