1989 Jaguar XJS: Stunning Southern California Beauty in Sunny Palm Springs!!!

Hello from sunny Palm Springs! A friend of mine recently called about this stunning "Lady in Red" he'd found tucked away in a garage in Glendale. an upscale suburb of Los Angeles. I knew at first glance that I had to snap her up for my fellow ebayers who can't get enough of our collectible California Jags. She's a true Southern California lady. for sure . not a speck of rust or unsightly decay to be found anywhere. NO. I'm not kidding!Starts right up. runs quietly. shifts through all the gears with ease. and stops well. and there she is. She's quite a looker. huh? After shooting the pics today. I drove her downtown to meet some friends for lunch. I parked her right on Palm Canyon Drive. the main drag. and when I came back from lunch there were three different people taking pictures of her and with her. Seriously. Now I'm sure they were tourists. but still . just know that if you buy her. be prepared to be noticed. She's incredibly red. she's painfully pretty. and she definitely knows how to draw a crowd. She's also a Jaguar made by the British in the 1980's. so I'm sure she's got a few. well . let's just call them "idiosyncrasies. "Other than a quarter inch sag in the driver's door. though. I don't know what they are yet. I had a flatbed bring her back from L. A. over the weekend and today was really the first time I've driven her. She goes to see Theo. my mechanic. in the morning (Wednesday) and I'll be updating this description as soon as I get his report. I don't expect him to find her in need of much. though. as she drove quite well this afternoon. I can say that even though it was 90+ degrees today. she ran nice and cool . no overheating issues whatsoever. I can also report that the A/C blows. but not very cold . not a surprise for a car that's been used little in the past few years. Oh. and the Pioneer stereo system sound wonderful! I'm no fan of aftermarket stereos . except when they're in a Jag. The factory head units are terrible. Being in Palm Springs is great because not only is this place an awesome hunting ground for low mileage. zero-rust garage queens. but I can travel to virtually any "cool find" in Los Angeles. Orange County or San Diego in 125 miles or less.
