Clean Title in Hand!
It's getting harder and harder to find a decent XJ for the highly sought after '91-93' years. This isn't a decent XJ and she doesn't owe me anything. She was a daily driver for 100,000 of my miles and given her age she's not too bad off. So before she heads to the scrap yard I thought I'd give her a sporting chance at second life. Now, he has been sitting for about a year, o here's the scoop.
Sporting the bulletproof 4.0L straight six engine almost 250,000 miles strong the head gave up on me heading down the highway. White smoke and some creamy sludge in the pan (on which that temperamental rear seal looks like has given up as well). The engine turns freely, ut there is no battery. The rear drivers door has a dent from a frisky buck during the rut a few years ago, ut she was a working vehicle so it didn't really matter. Speaking of working the inside is as you'd expect... grimy. The head liner gave up years ago but hey she has two cup holders! A/C needed a charge when she was parked last winter.
The 4x4 and transmission shift smoothly. The starter, lternator, nbsp;fuel pump, nd exhaust were all replaced recently. The gas tank was still a little sludgy when the fuel pump was replaced, ut cleaned reasonably well. The cat was eliminated when I welded up the new exhaust as well. The diffs look pretty good still and there is tread to be had on the tires. Regardless she isn't currently running and is a trailer queen until you can get under the hood.
Take a look at the picks ask as many questions as you like...Happy bidding. No international sale. $350 due within 48hours after auction and I'd like to see her gone a few days later, ut we can make arrangements if need be.
