Description

For sale is my best friend, y Jeep Cherokee XJ. My father bought it brand new in 1999 and it has now been in my name for the past year or two, o technically more than one owner but it’s stayed with the same people. The Jeep has a clear Iowa title and 141,xxx miles (I still drive it so the mileage will vary slightly).

The Good:

-Comprehensive maintenance records (we even have the original window sticker)

In the past few years (since it became mine) I have:

-Installed premium sound system consisting of Dynamat sound insulation installed throughout the car (pictures upon request), ioneer component speakers installed in the front and back, ony head unit, olk Audio 8” subwoofer, lpine 4-channel amp, lpine mono amp, nd new 14 gauge speaker wiring

-New headliner

-Sunroof serviced (and the fact that it has a sunroof)

-Heater core, an motor, nd evaporator core replaced (feel free to ask about how much fun it is to take apart a dashboard)

-A/C condenser

-Exhaust manifold

-30” Firestone tires installed about two years ago (~75% tread left)

-All new Old Man Emu suspension (high quality Australian suspension parts) including shocks, oil springs, eaf springs, nd bushings

-New Moog rear sway bar, rag link, ie rod, nd tie rod ends (and any related bushings)

-Trunk seal

-Headlight switch

-(Used but good) alloy wheels

-Brakes tuned up (replaced front rotors, ads)

-Been running Mobil1 Synthetic oil since ~129,000 miles, hanged every 10,000 miles since then

-New fuel pump and fuel filter

-New JKS adjustable track bar

-JKS Quik Disconnects (for the sway bar)

-New Battery (replaced about three years ago)

-Upgraded fuel injectors (two years ago)

-Transfer case serviced, ransmission flushed, ront and rear differential fluid changed

-New upgraded steering box/brace

-Heated mirrors (also have original mirrors)

Ok, ow the not so good:

-Resurfaced the roof a few years ago with Rustoleum paint, ow the primer underneath is starting to peak through, o may need retouched

-General scratches/rust you’d expect from a 17 year old Jeep

-The front passenger side fender flare broke off a year ago and I have a replacement but haven’t put it on yet

That is the end of the essay about this Jeep, s you can probably tell I really do love it, just can’t afford to keep up with the gas mileage of it. I need money for school and need to spend less on gas, o I need to part with quite literally a childhood friend.
