Newly Rebuilt 1972 400 Pontiac out of a Pontiac periseanstation wagon, revious owner had pulled the original 305 Turd and kicked it to the curb as should be done to rest of the smog motor's that were choked out to meat emissions standards to make the "MAN" happy, revious owner (older fella) couldn't remember what all he did to motor but had gone down to the crank to regain oil pressure loss and had to buy everything from crank up, unched a littl, gain unsure of how much just kept stating it was$1,500 for the parts and had traded for labor, e wanted a fast bulletproof motor . . . and he got what he was after, /font>he also had transmission built to the motor's standard's shifts flawlessly also bulletproof I was informed, hile he was at it he figured since he ditched the "Turd" he would also toss the 85mph speedo for a NEW speedo with 0 miles and went to 160mph like back in the da, ld dash pad was pitched to, car will never touch this mark as it is now and only 3 gears or lose the stomp your ass feel it had but now has the Buddy "WEARING" his cocktail kinda feel . . .HA sorry Darrin, e said now he see's why it's illegal for passenger's to drink in the car. . . HA, o funny! have a fresh 700R4 buggin me for a shot at tryin for i, he 160 mark I mean, /font>

Sick to say the least!! the look on there faces when ya hit the button right before the green and there still sittin there wondering what just happened. . .PRICELE$$! also helped in the HP's, lowtech's suck by the way, ain in ass to install, o not buy!!or be on the tame side carrying on with the 2 1/4" pipe to the chrome Trans Am Splitter'sEdelbrock Performer RPM intake sitting on top is the 625 CFM Street DEMON Carb topped off with K&N open air flow top air cleaner that sucks from the fully functional cowl induction shake, elped a little. . .Electric Fans (2) 14" attached to new 3 core Radiator, he single most noticeable Modification I have made to car to pick up a few more HP', can't stress enough . . .DITCH THE CLUTCH FAN!!CSI Electric Water Pump. ..helped a littleChrome 200 AMP Alternator. . .you'll see,Serpentine Belt system to run Alternator and Stock power steering soon to be tossed for electric pump . . .Electric Fuel Pum, ontiac Chrome Valve Covers, alvoline Synpower 5w 30 motor oil looked like new when I changed it last, anufacturer said to !
COCKPIT. . .Gutted carpe, eadliner, artial pieces of floor boards biggest one under driver's feet from toe board to seat hump, est was just little 2-3" square pieces (4)all welded back in ground down flat rust proofed, rimed and painted, /font>Dyno mat Heat/Cold Sound Proofing on every Square inch of the floors, oil Faced thick membrane one upgrade away from top of product lin, KENWOOD EXCELLON MP3, SB (2 ports), erius/X, D, M/FM Stereo, arantula Monster cables RCA's to 800 Watt KENWOOD old school Amplifier pushin a pair of Cadence 6x9's 25lbs between the pai, monster magnets" having each there own crossovers, nd another set of "T" RCA's to a 1,400 watt soundstream Tarantula Series Monoblock amplifier with color changing LED's pushin a pair of 10" tarantula series subs, Kenwood deck running a pair of Memphis 3" tweeter's in the dash . . .Bangin! now u see??Headliner, ear Deck Redone, oor lock actuators, ave new OEM black vinyl seat covers front and back not installed yet, ouldn't bring myself to tear off old one, hey really aren't that bad no burns or tears, ad the hobnail seat, eh I know why? something different!Trunk was one mouse piss hole away from flawless, M should have a little fill station like windshield washer fluid but have it full of mouse poison so you can fill it whenever it's low and have a dummy light in dash for when empty, irty bastards. . .one of the main reasons for a lot of rusted out pillar', wheel wells, oof, hey make a nest and nobody catches it just like battery acid probably worse...sorry off subject...Cadillac Black Paint Job 2 years ago and wow for shiney. . .graphics 3:08 REAR GEARS new with Royal Purple Gear Lube, ront wheel bearing's also new
THE NEED's. . . Rear leaf springs? bushings, hackles, alipers, otors, ads, has working air shocks needing upgrades coil overs, eh coil overs! and body bushings, o close to totally redone, eed a little something to do over the weekend or not ?? I can finish it also, ust running out of green stuff at the moment, icked up a 67 RSSS wasn't cheap but will still have to go through it with a new 6.2 LS3 ?? and 6 speed??car doesn't really need these things but is about all that' s left on car to be considered ground up resto....

forgotten to include I found the build sheet behind rear seat, ove treasure huntin for them, ittle stained from where it was also the "original" operator's manual and purchase pamphlets that the first owner had yet, ime warp ya back that's for sure!!
