Up for auction is my very original 1974 Plymouth Barracuda. This car has the original engine, ransmission and rear end. It was also repainted in its original color of Lucerne Blue. The white interior is also the correct color per the fender tag. This is a rare and desirable color combo. The car is a very unmolested car. I believe all the body panels to be original to the car. Many if not all of the body panels have the original numbers stamped into them (fenders, ood, adiator support, runk). Original fender tag on the drivers side fender (see decode info below). The mileage on the car reads 68,157 which I believe could be the original miles.

The car idles, uns and drives great. Drives straight down the freeway with no pulling or wandering. Engine idles smooth and steady (see the videos of the engine running in this auction). It has factory air conditioning, ower steering, isc brakes and dual exhaust. The exhaust note is nice, ot too loud but has a low rumble. The engine is the original 318 with chrome valve covers and air cleaner added (I have the original air cleaner and valve covers). It has new carpet and the front seat covers appear to be new. All the electricals work- horn, ights, linkers, rake lights, nterior dome light, tc. The fuel guage and radio do not work. The car also has new tires with the hard to find rally ‘road wheels’. In the trunk is a full spare wheel/tire and original jacking equipment.

This car is in driver condition, ot a show car but looks amazing - perfect for Sunday drives and local shows. It gets a ton of looks going down the road and I receive many compliments on this car. It is a very rare with a low production number of around 1194 cars made. Even less in this color combination. I have the original build sheet, riginal owners manual and original keys for the car.

    Please read my feedback, t speaks for itself. The factory put these cars together well, see a lot of restored stuff that does not go back too well. I have the car priced with a low reserve….this is a car that someone can take to the next restoration level, r drive and show now.

There is no doubt that this car will appreciate in value over the next several years and is better than money sitting in your bank account, ince you can enjoy the car while it appreciates (should appreciate faster than the interest from the loan for that matter). This is a great example of an original Barracuda. It is seldom one finds a car like this and it is getting harder to find cars in this kind of original condition…..so bid early, on’t miss out!
