This is a very rare 911S PORSCHE and said to be 1 of only 200 made in the 1976 signature edition.
The steering wheel has an engraved Ferry Porsche's signature on the horn assembly.
These cars were originally painted Platinum Diamond Metallic and this one shows one older repaint . The car does not show rust and is very solid including under the battery that is solid as well .
This has been an Oklahoma Car as far back as 1985 according to the previous owner who owned it since the mid 80's .The engine starts and runs and sounds great but has been off the road and only driven periodically for some time so I would not drive it on a 500 mile trip without changing fluids and checking tires for age .I have driven it around the block and it shifted through the gears and steered and stopped . The car has air conditioning but does not have a belt on the ac compressor currently .
The body is very straight and presentable but the interior is showing it's age with tears and cracks of a typical original 40 year old car .
The previous owner says she was told this vehicle identification number 9116200199 is the 199th car of the signature series run of 200 cars . I am having a difficult time finding much information about these 1976 Signature cars but they aredefinitely a rare car everyone agrees on that fact .
