This is an extremely rare 1951 Model 31 Divco. It features the factory original Hercules QXD-3, cylinder flat head engine, the same motor which was used in vintage Chris-craft luxury boats from that time period). It has the factory original solid diamond plate floors and very rare original factory 4 doors opening in the back, most Divcos only have just two doors opening up).Runs and drives great. This model was only made for 3 years in the early 1950s and has the highly desirable art deco "round back" styling.Also includes the original owners manual!

We purchased this Divco in the town of Redding, n California, hen restored it completely - had it taken apart, ngine, ransmission, lass, lectrical etc. removed, hen it was sand blasted to fresh bare metal, rimed and painted, ith new glass, rim, e-chromed hood ornament, iring, ights, uel tank, uel lines components etc.
Because of its age and Art Deco style, t's the perfect vintage vehicle. The Divco truck was designed in 1938 and kept that unique style for the entire history of their existence. Making it a distinctive Mid Century icon. The odometer says 000003.9, ecause the gauges are all brand new and were replaced with the restoration. It has the original, tock Hercules engine which starts with one turn of the key and runs great, s well as new brakes, ew master cylinder, ew wheel cylinders, ew tires, ew fluids, ew spark plug wires, ew electrical wires, nbsp;new wiring harness, ew coil, ew ignition modulator, ew muffler and pipe, nbsp;new fuel lines, ebuilt factory original Zenith carburetor, ew spark plugs, une up, reased zerk fittings, ew shocks, ew paint, ewly chromed hood ornament, ew ignition, ew chrome locking rear door handle, ewly re-upholstered original seat, ew lights, ew window rubber and trim, ew fender welt, ew 1/4 inch laminated safety glass windshields and windows, ew lights, unning lights, ail and reverse lights, ew old stock vintage handles and chrome light rings, ew hand crafted custom aluminum gas tank in the original size and specs. The engine and transmission ran when we bought it, o we had our mechanic remove the valve cover, ead, il pan, anifolds, tc. then he cleaned and lubricated everything before reinstalling it in the truck with new gaskets parts and components. He also removed, lushed and cleaned the transmission fluid, s well as the fluid in the rear differential and many, any more additions.Is similar to the International Harvester Metro, tep Van, ood Truck, tc. but Divcos are much more stylish and head turning due to their one of a kind design.This vehicle has the original Divco seven digit VIN #,. That is why eBay doesn't list it with a modern VIN. That is why eBay doesn't list it with a modern, ulti numbered VIN format.
