Up for bid is my 1998 Pontiac Trans Am. I purchased this car in 1999 when the original owner traded it in at a buddy of mine's dealership. Over the last 17 years it has spent the majority of its life sitting in the garage I very rarely ever drive it. It is absolutely bone stock and unmolested with exception of the radio and the removal of the catalytic converter. It has just 137000 miles on the clock, pretty low mileage for a 28 year old car. The 5.0 liter V8 engine still retains its complete and original throttle body fuel injection system. Which in my opinion is the most Rock Solid and maintenance-free induction system GM ever devised. It purrs like a kitten and I would not be afraid to drive it anywhere . Aside from an alternator belts and hoses this engine has never been touched. The original owner had an after-market alarm system installed which lasted about six months after I purchased the car because I grew very tired of being woken up at 3 o'clock in the morning every time my neighbor's dog barked. The body is in absolutely Immaculate condition with not one Speck of rust to be found anywhere on the car. I just had it repainted in its original Maui blue with silver ground effects at a cost of $4,800. It has been adult owned and driven all of its life. The grey cloth interior is in very good condition with no rips or tears anywhere. There are a few Light stains in the carpet. The stitching has come loose in the leather gear shift cover. And there is a wear spot at the top of the steering wheel. All Plastics are crack free including the dash pad which is immaculate. I recently installed a new headliner sun visors and rear side covers. The power windows and door locks work as they should as well as the power mirrors cruise control and air conditioning. All of the weather stripping and T top seals are soft and pliable. You simply will not find a nicer 3rd generation f-body for the money unless you are one of those extraordinarily lucky people who finds one that's been parked in the barn for 25 years. All the glass is cracked free and in good condition. The only known issue with the car is the fact that the gas gauge seems to be stuck at full.
