1960 Dodge short bed - D100 with 318 and factory 4 speed

I recently found this truck on a farm down in Arkansas.My plans was to restore it but I already have another truck I am restoring so I decided to sell this one due to time restraints on my end. I will list here what I know about the truck and what I believe to be true.
There is no guarantee with this information but I have every reason to believe it is true. This truck was bought new by a farmer down in Arkansas who used it as a farm truck etc. He passed away a few years back and thegrand daughter who inherited his farm sold the farm and the truck to another local farmer (the truck basically was part of the deal with the farm). The second farmer lost interest in the truck (he had it for about a year and it just set in the field until he decided to sell it and I bought it from him.
The mileage listed on the truck is 39102 miles and (again) I believe this is the correct mileage on the truck but I have no way to prove it as fact.There is some damage to the passenger side bed, the top of the cab is also dented (which I believe it can be pulled out fairly easily. There is also a small dent on the top drivers side bed of the truck. I was told that a tree fell on the truck during a storm.
If you look at the dent on the cab, the passenger side of the bed and the other small dent it does appear to be tree in regards to the statement that a tree fell on the truck, it does not appear to be (at all) from a wreck (the damage), but look at it yourself and you decide.
Last part of the story, The grand daughter had a boyfriend who decided to pull the carburetor off the truck and was going to install a 4 barrel on the motor, he started it but did not finish it and the original carburetor is on the floor of the truck (passenger side of the truck). It appears to be fine but may need a carburetor kit to get it working good. If you will look at the picture shared above you will see the carburetor and the starter sitting on the floor board of the truck. The gears on the starter are damaged and need to be replaced, that is why it was removed from the motor.
I have not startedthis truck but I believe it will run once the starter is repaired and the carburetor is rebuilt. I am no mechanic but I did look it over real good before I bought it.I pulled the radiator cap off and the anti freeze looked real good and the inside of the radiator (looking down inside it) it look real clean also. I also pulled the oil dip stick and the engine was full of oil and looked reasonably clean also. Listed below is what I believe it needs to get it up and running.

1. A new battery (and new battery cables)
2. Rebuilt carburetor
3. New starter
4. Did not check them but, plugs and plug wires etc. sure would help also.
5. Guessing here but new brakes etc. (and maybe thebrake cylinder) would be a good idea also.
In regards to what I know about the truck it does have some minor to moderate rust here and there, it is not a rust free truck by any shape of the imagination. The floor board does have a few small rust areas but it is about 85% solid, the truck itself is about 90% solid but it does have rust here and there (the truck is 56 years old!). There is rest in the corners here and there and there is work to be done to bring it up to par.
I have done some research on this truck and there was a little less than 45,000 dodge trucks made in 1960, with 75% of them being long beds, this truck is known as a sweptside - short bed (108 inch wheel base). From what I can tellless than 11,000 short beds was produced and of these 75% of them had the 6 cylinder motor. This truck hadthe 318 factory motor (which was a upgrade option) and there was less than 1 in 4 of these that had the 318 so that gets the number down to around 2750 total made, add in the very rare factory (on the floor) 4 speed transmission (most of these trucks was three on the tree transmission) and you have a much smaller number still.
I do not know how many of these trucks was made but I believe there was less than 500 made in 1960 so as of today I would guess there is less than 100 of these trucks left, again, I could be wrong on this information (please feel free to vet me on this info).
