1998 Acura Integra Type R #98-0940 Driver Quaility, Track Car, Tastefully Modded

If you're looking for a $30k+ museum quality Integra Type R this is not the car. However if you're looking for one half the price that you can actually drive and enjoy look no further. I'm selling this car for a friend, that for as long as I've known him, typically keeps cars for a year or so, and then moves on. With that being said this particular car has been in his stable for 4 years now and deep down I believe it pains him to sell it. In the next couple paragraphs I'm going to do my best to assess the condition of the vehicle. Don't assuming anything. If you have any questions at all please reach out to me. Mechanically- The car is 100% sound and I wouldn't hesitate to get in it and drive to California. The original short block spun a rod bearing and was replaced with a JDM unit with a fresh rebuild with less than 8000 miles on it. (original short block included in sale) The transmission was also replaced with a lower mile unit along with a 4.7 final drive. A brand new main relay and distributor has been installed within the last 500 miles. For cooling the radiator was upgraded to a Koyo aluminum unit with all new hoses. Additional mods to the power train include: Exedy stage one clutch with a lightened flywheel, TODA header and a Comptech Icebox. I watched a used TODA header by itself sell for $1000 a couple weeks ago. Most mods have been installed within the last 3000 miles.
Suspension and Brakes- The suspension is stock other than Koni yellow adjustable shocks. The front calipers have been replaced with authentic Spoon 4 piston replacements. Included in sale is brand new set of rotors and a set of used track pads for the front.
Body- There's 172k on the chassis but has plenty of life left. There's only one bit of rust in the drivers wheel well where the previous owner rolled the fender. This can easily be sanded and undercoated. The car is 100% original with the exception of the right fender being replaced. Otherwise the car has all the original spot welds indicating nothing has been cut out and replaced. All the original VIN tags are attached on every panel with the exception of the replaced RF fender. There's no structural damage on the car whatsoever. Aesthetically there's a couple of dents on the top of the RF fender, the front bumper and hood have some rock chips but overall the paint shines and matches. The wheels are original and are chipped up but strait and true. The tires are Direzza ZII with 500 miles.
Interior- The interior is smoke free and overall very clean. The front drivers seat has a couple of small holes in it. The rear trunk carpet doesn't fit properly and the spare tire is missing. Now on to the good stuff. The A/C works. The rear view is Spoon as well as the steering wheel.
