2008 Pontiac G8

2008 Pontiac G8, 3.6, auto, low 66k miles. This car is very clean, the body has no major blemishes and the paint shines. The interior is equally clean. The car does have some issues. It has several codes for camshaft correlation. The car runs and drives fine the way it is, but at idle it surges. Once the car is driving its fine and goes down the road smoothly and shifts perfect. The research we've done on the codes and after speaking with the dealer we thing the timing chains stretched and would need to be replaced. Its a common issues with these cars. Just not something we have the time to get into right now. Because the milage is so low and the car is so clean, its well worth it for someone mechanical to do the repairs and sell it. Nada retail value on this car is just over $12,000 and my reserve is much lower than that, low enough to purchase the car, repair it and still be able to make a profit, or just have a really nice car for much less that what it would normally cost to buy it.
