I have, fresh from the Reno, Nevada area, a 1978 Jeep J10 pickup. 360 V-8, Turbo 400/Quadratrac with Lo Range unit, AC, cruise, bucket seats, rear slider and cargo light. Virtually rust free except for passenger side floor and a little on the driver's side. Slight damage to left rear by tail light and passenger side rear fender flair. Chassis super clean still with most of frame paint. Good rubber. The truck was parked 12 years ago. With a only a little work I was able to get it started. I bypassed the fuel tank, (which looks great), in order to confirm fresh, clean fuel. The motor runs surprisingly smooth and idled well considering I did not change plugs, wires, etc. This confirmed fuel pump operation. Temperature came up about 1/3 scaled. Warm idle oil pressure is about 30 psi with 40+ on start up and operating rpm. Charging system seems OK based on AMP gauge. Power steering seems OK. Fuel gauge read E+, which may not mean anything. Transmission shifted quickly between R and D with no "clunking" as is typical of worn TH400/Quadratrac combos. Fluids still full. No detectable leaks. Brakes work. A video of the start up, (Nevada '78 J10 comes to life), can be seen on my FB page Clear NV title. Asking $3450/OBO as/is. Will repair/restore to your specs for time & materials. Find me on FB at Buege's Classic Jeep & 4X4.Shipping is responsibility of purchaser. This vehicle is for sale on other venues. Sale may be ended at any time. Thanks for looking.
