1999 Dodge Ram Sport 2500 4X4 Diesel Long Bed Quad Cab Pickup. If your looking for a clean Gen II Diesel that has not been modified look no further. This truck is running the factory engine tune. I have been building this truck for over 4 years and need to move to something more family minded. My new ride is here so this one has to find a new owner. Short Story.

I have owned this truck for the past 9,750 miles enjoying every bit of it. The setup in this truck is as follows: Transmission 47 re automatic w the legendary 5.9 Cummins diesel 24V engine. I have restored parts of the truck over the past four years to its current condition mainly focusing on the aesthetics of the chassis and overall mechanical flaws from Chrysler. The truck has 79,750 original miles. I took ownership of this truck right around 70K miles and have slowly brought it back to almost new condition with a few upgrades. Please reference the pictures below for a more clear look into the condition and points of restoration. Upon completion the truck was taken on family vacations and lightly pulled to the local lumber yard. This truck has the sport package which means more or less a minor lift from the factory and painted sport style bumpers. Im a very big fan of the Generation II body style from dodge and wanted to keep the classic look to this truck. The truck features the following areas of restoration.

• Chassis, full sandblast to bare metal
• Apply two part alum based primer with Master Coatings Satin 2 Part Frame Coating.
• All new stainless steel 3/16 brake lines, pre bent to factory OEM Specs
• All new rear OEM wire harness and fuel lines.
• Installation of new fuel tank module and return lines from VP44 injection pump
• Upgraded Lift Pump to FASS Titanium Series Custom mounted high on driver side frame rail out of sight and protected from road debris.
• Upgraded to Banks Monster full 4” stainless steel exhaust the full length of the truck not very loud but a few clicks over the factory exhaust.
• High pressure injector lines have all been nickel plated for engine aesthetics.
• Engine was hand stripped and primed using KBS Motor Coater self leveling engine enamel paint, this is a great product that withstands 450F and is oil and gas resistant. Color Chevy Grey, other engine parts have the clear diamond finish paint applied.
• All hardware was replaced with stainless steel if possible.
• Many additional fluid transfer lines have been replaced and or upgraded along the way, trans cooler, turbo oiler, all cooling hoses and ECU wire harness have been cleaned and recovered.
• New Master Cylinder with new front and rear brake components including all new parking brake cables.
• This truck does come with the Factory Dana 70 rear axle assy with 3.55:1 axle ratios
• Front axle assembly is Factory Dana 60 with serviced u-joints and differential.
• New front and rear shock assy were installed with 2” front leveling kit.
• Wheels were upgraded to Factory 16 X 10 Dodge Alloy wheels of this model era. This was followed by a full re polishing and re-clear coating using specialized UV resistant type wheel clear coating.
• Tires are Michelin 265 x 75 x 16 factory tires, 50% tread left on all 4.
• The interior of the truck is nothing less than a 9.5/10, you will think it all has been replaced but the factory light grey cloth seats hold up very well with little to no signs of weathering.
• The truck has a roll n lock type retractable tonneau cover for easy access and does come with a rubber bed mat.
• The instrument panel is all factory with addition of Autometer Phantom II gage set including the trans temp, boost pressure, and exhaust gas temp gages on the drivers pillar.
• Most recently I had the 47RE automatic transmission completely rebuilt by Steve from S&K truck service Anna Oh, This includes all HD parts supplied by Goerend, including a billet triple disk torque converter, and Mag - Hytec deep sump trans oil pan with temp sensor. The transmission comes with a 2 year warranty offered by S&K Truck Service from Anna Oh. Effective 5/31/17.
