Welcome and thank you for looking.
What we have is my daily driver, have owned it for the last 6 months.
Everything electrical works great, ll windows, ocks, ights, adio, ash, nd seats work great. The air blows good, nd the heat works great. It currently has no check engine lights, r any check lights. The tires are in good shape, ook to be 3/4 or better tread. The head gaskets where done about 5k miles ago. The have been converted to the D1 style. New black headliner was installed. Sunroof drains where cleaned out when headliner was refitted. All leather in the rover is in good if not great shape for the mileage and age. The dash does have sun damage. Also the liners in the motor have been pinned, ead more on this below.
Now to what is wrong with this Rover. It currently leaks oil from where the liners where pinned. Any one who has had this issue know this is the one fix with out buying a new engine. While pining the sleeve in the block a hole is drilled and then has a bolt is fitted flush with the inside of the chamber. The leaks are due to over-site when they where pinned and no sealant was applied around the pins. This is a repair that can be made very easily. I have just lost interest, nd do not want to do it. The only other thing that is an issue is it currently is miss firing on number 4 cyl. This is due to a used set of injectors, eing used when replacing engine seals, will include another injector. Also on a minor note the radio had some damage to face plate, ut works as it should. The damage is in the top corners where it was removed.
New items that have be added to this rover are Timing Chain, ront Cover seal, il Pan gasket, eader Flange gasket, ally gasket, ocker Cover gasket, ocker Arm Camshaft, ocker Arms, ush Rods, ap-it Lifters, ater Pump, ront Main seal, ntake gasket, park Plug Wires, nd much much more.
I will include a brush guard with it for the D2. I had started to sand it, ut it is unfinished. Also 2 fog lamps for the guard.
