1947 Chevrolet Coupe Street Rod

For sale is a '47 business coupe street rod. It has5000 miles on it since the build. It has proven to be a reliable and fun car to drive. It has a nice stance thanks to the Chassis Engineering Mustang style front suspensionand a triangulated 4 bar rear suspension with coil over shocks. Power comes from a 300HP 327CI motor with a mild cam backed with a 700-R4 transmission and a '59 Ford 9'' rear axle with 3.50 gears. It rides on American Racing Torq Thrust II wheels with 16X7 on the front and 17X8 on the rear. This combination nets 21 mpg on the highway!

The body was left original except the cowl vent was filled and a Hagen gas filler door was installed. This car was mostly rust-free as it had previously been an original restoration.

The interior still has the original seat redone in gray and black vinylwith matchingdoor panels. The dash is a custom built unit with a billet panel for the gauges. Behind it is a Vintage Air Gen II heat and air unit. In the lower dash are custom billet a/c vents and HVAC control panel. Also is a JVC stereo. It has power steering, ower brakes, nd a Rostra cruise control.
