Great looking poppy red 1972 Land Rover Series III 88A from the coast of Maine for sale. Rare left hand drive, orth American spec. These are getting harder to find! Fully synchronized gearbox. This Land Rover has undergone a recent restoration and is ready to go! It is garaged. The Rover is fitted with a galvanized chassis and has been repainted in the original poppy red color.The truck is fitted with 16" wheels and comes with a new red Hi Lift Jack.
Some highlights of the recent work that has been performed on the truck are asfollows:
- The original petrol 2.25L engine has had the top end rebuilt and fitted with all new gaskets and seals- A new Weber carburetor and a new master cylinder has been installed- The brakes have been rebuilt using copper nickel brake tubing, ew brake drums and shoes- New gas tank installed- All electrical systems have been revamped including some new lenses, ew bulbs, ew wiper assembly, nd new battery- The interior has a new headliner, ront seats, oor panels, ats, nd a new heater fan motor- New front grill
