Gorgeous restored Arles blue hardtop Defender 90 with a completely rebuilt engine that runs like new. Automatic transmission, ir conditioning, unroof and new Alpine stereo system with bluetooth. All seats including 4 back safari seats are newlyupholsteredand two-toned (see photos!) The new wool carpet is protected by the original rubber front and rear floor mats.
While this 4.0L V8 has 104,720 miles the engine is completely rebuilt. Runs like new. The body, aint and top are in excellent condition. It's a head-turner.
1997 was the last year the Land Rover Defender 90 was imported into the U.S. and this model is the best version of the vehicle. The aluminum-bodied Defender was introduced in 1994 and after a hiatus for 1996 it was brought back in 1997. All '97 models had the upgraded and cleaner-burning 4.0L V-8, hich yielded 182 horsepower and 233 lb-ft of torque. Also new to the Defender for 1997 was the electronically operated ZF four-speed automatic transmission. This car a rare classic but then clearly you already know that or you wouldn't be here.
