SE 4X4 4dr S SUV Abs defender lover, discovery, mechanic special

We are very pleased to be offering this 2004 Land Rover Discovery SE. 2004 for was the last year Land Rover offered the Discovery in North America, earing the iconic name and traditional Land Rover styling. These vehicles continue to grow in popularity and value as good, lean ones become more and more difficult to find. Needless to say as 2004 was the final year offered it is no doubt the most desirable year to buy. This Discovery SE is finished in Epsom Green with Alpaca Beige leather interior. Needless to say these vehicles are know for their iconic styling, ersatility, nd off road capability. However, hey are also traditionally quirky. So first the good news on our vehicle. Overall exterior condition is very good, he paint shines nicely on the exterior, ll plastic body moldings and bumpers, lass, tc., re crack free and in good condition. It does have a few small dings and scratches but again is in very nice condition for the year and miles and with a little attention could even be above average. All doors open and close properly, here is no rust on the body or door jams and it has 4 fairly new off-road tires. The interior is also in very good condition. Yes, t has the sagging headliner and worn 4wd shifter. Otherwise the leather, arpets and door panels have all been very well cared for and show little signs of wear and tear. All interior components are also in proper working order, indows, /c, adio, oonroofs, ower seats, oor locks, tc., re all in proper working order. Now the slight downside.... the vehicle did recently overheat, o we took all normal steps to address what is also a very common problem. This resulted in, ew head gaskets on both sides, ew thermostat, adiator, erformed a coolant flush,changed spark plugs, il change, ntake gaskets and exhaust manifold gaskets. This all performed by a Land Rover mechanic. However, t is still overheating after a short drive and appears to be building up pressure. As this vehicle was purchased to be a daily driver we have decided that we could no longer continue to chase the issue and have decided to sell it. It does NOT appear that the sleeve has dropped on either side, o the engine is not a total loss. The bottom line on this vehicle-if you are looking for a nice clean Disco, hat has already had a lot of common issues addressed but just needs a little more tweaking and you have little time to invest in making it a nice truck, his is the one. This is a GOOD truck, t needs a sharp mechanic to pay a little attention to it and it could be running right in no time, nd will look and drive great. It currently starts right up and idles great prior to overheating. It also demonstrates a ton of dealer history service on the carfax so it was never a neglected vehicle.
