The last and BESTyear for these Land Rover Discovery II series.
Bay Area owned (two owners) and maintained always. Completely rust-free. Clean California title registered until June 2017. I also have a California smog certificate (if needed) and Carfax report (see pic). All original but it was bought as an SE and updated to an SE7 (seven passenger). It comes with all options available for that year model (including heated seats, ual sunroofs, og lamps, ow pkg. & rear air). It has the much desired CDL system (Central Differential Locking), hich is a great "plus" if you decide to go off-road at any time. New tires (all five) just last year. It looks good runs great! Only a couple of minor scuffs on the front bumpercorner capsand the headliner is sagging a bit on a couple of spots (as usually seen on many Land Rover Discos and Range Rovers).
No "funny" engine noise like what you would normally hear on earlier model DII's from late 1999-2002 and of course the worst year of all, he 2003's (with the infamous Buick engines). Buy mine or not, utdefinitelybuy 2004 if your buying a DII. If you are a previous LR owner (like myself and family), don't need to say anything more.There are NO warning lights of any kind on dash (NO "three amigos" nor "check engine" lights/issues to deal with), o overheating at all, t runs nice and cool. All electrical works as it should, C blows nice and cold and the heater nice and hot. The paint finish is in excellent condition, o clear coat fading on roof nor hood. The interior is also in great condition, o cuts nor tears anywhere. Non smoker adult owned. '04 Discosare getting harder and harder to find, pecially SE7's, n original/unaltered condition.
There is NO rust, orrosion nor clearcoat flaking on this vehicle what is so ever, EWARE OF RUST BUCKETS FROM THE EAST COAST or anywhere else where they are used to seeing snow! Nothing like having a nice privately owned and maintained California automobile (specially from Silicone Valley). If the car is bought with the "Buy It Now" option I will include a set of four "like new" OEM Land Rover mud-flaps with it...
