The AC works brilliantly and the heat is perfect without any offending smells inside the cabin. That said. this is also A NON SMOKER VEHICLE and with its recent upholstery service and professional detail. she still smells like a new car. This vehicle is a blast to drive for many reasons. It performs as you would expect from a vehicle of this caliber and all of the distinctive features of this one year only model are in excellent condition. But I'd like to think that its era-specific technology will somehow be considered your direct line to Margaret Thatcher. Body. Chassis & Coachwork: Overall this vehicle is gorgeous. The colour-matched factory 5-spokes offer a refreshing break from other cookie-cutter 95’s. Fitted here are new Cooper Discoverer tyres. Offering the best of on and off-road performance. The legendary Soft-Dash is in tidy shape with no gouges. rips or curl. The instrument cluster bezel is PERFECT (they are always destroyed). Additionally. the chrome bumpers are in near pristine order and even the front bumpers push-pads are intact (they are almost always missing). Further south. the fog-light/air-dam is uncracked and perfect. The rugs are clean and soft as is the original leather. All Range Rover/Land Rover embroidery is tight and clean. The front seats are in astonishingly good condition and display what happens to quality materials when cared for appropriately. If the leather exhibits any wear at all. it is what you would expect from a 20 year family vehicle – cared for and enjoyed. Note the highlighted pictures of the door sills. upper tailgate corner. arches and jambs. These are all critical areas for corrosion on the Range Rover Classics and they are present here in near perfect condition. The vehicle is proudly drip free and you should consider it nice driveway safe! The paint is highly reflective. liquid smooth and as pictured. polishes up great. While overall in excellent condition. she is not immune to what would be considered normal used vehicle wear and tear. dings/dent/scratches. To recap. this is a straight. original. rot free. clean and comfortable Range Rover that I would be otherwise proud to own. A Word on Executive Armoring and This Vehicle: You can do a search for them; they are still in business and their process is still the same. This vehicle is built to withstand penetration from 9mm rounds. 357 Magnum’s and sub machine gun fire. During this era. higher end vehicles like this were armored. Mercedes Benz offered their own spin on this and they called it the “Diplomat Package. ” When your net worth pushes beyond the scope of most mortals. it is understandable that you may want just a little more safety in addition to the world’s finest four wheel drive!
