In the US, hen a car reaches 25 years of age, t is exempt from the NHTSA (25 year exempt), PA (21 year exempt), OT, nd FHTSA.
In order to import cars that qualify under the 25 Year Rule, he cars must be 25 years old or older from the date of manufacture (Month & Year). For example, n January 2015, ll cars that were manufactured on January 1990 and older are eligible for import under this ruling.
