Description

Up for sale is a 2003 Lincoln Town Car. This car looks amazing! The white paint is very glossy with no major imperfections with the exception of a chip on the driver side rearview mirror and one spot on the rear bumper. The car has very few paint chips for its age, and the front grill and bumper are in excellent shape. This car only has 84k miles, and anyone that is familiar with a Town Car knows these V8's run FOREVER, so it's just barely broken in. The interior of the car is in great shape, with some wear to the drivers seat, but no deep cracks in the leather.
Theraidosounds great. The CD and Cassette player both work well, and with the handy controls on the steering wheel, you don't have to look off the road to control the radio. There are also controls on the radio for the climate control, which is very handy. This car boasts dual power seats, power mirrors, door locks, and windows. It has a soft close trunk as well as keyless entry both with a remote or combination lock on the drivers door. There is a digital overhead display with a compass, and an outside temperature display built in to the electronic climate control.
The air ride and levelers seem to be in good shape, and this car floats right down the road at 85 with no hesitation.
Now for the bad... The AC is not blowing cold. I have added a couple of cans of Freon and it will stay in for a couple of days and then it's gone. The compressor is fine, and based on our local mechanic and my research on the internet, it seems the problem comes from a leak in a condenser. All of the lines have been checked, and no leaks in them or the compressor. Also, the car could use a new set of tires, as there is maybe 20% tread left on the current Michelins. Otherwise, the car seems to be in excellent shape, both mechanically and cosmetically. Because of the AC issue, I have lowered my asking price by $2k which should cover the cost of having any repairs done as well as some new tires for the road.
