If that doesn’t bother you and you’re still up for the challenge, hen read on… 1969 Lotus Elan S4 DHC (drop head coupe) “type 45” very complete project car with 68K miles. Motor turns (not frozen) and should run. Was parked in running condition back in 1981 into dry storage garage after water pump bearing failure awaiting repair and has not run since. One family owned since new. Equipped with Colin Chapman signature steering wheel, nd has an added extra non-OEM water temp gauge. Roll bar is “bolted on” not welded, o it can be removed if desired. Has original Lotus factory workshop manual and glove box Owner’s Manual. Has rear antenna, ut no radio. Electric fuel pump in trunk above tank. Pictures are taken with car dry and also wet to show vehicle lines, hapes and potential. Green paint is dull but appears factory original. Comes with spare in trunk. Interior has original dash board, ash pad has a crack, enter console cracked as well. Minor damage/cracks in fiberglass as shown in pictures behind driver’s rear wheel, he rear bumper, he front passenger side under front bumper, nd other smaller cracks, icks, nd scrapes elsewhere. Electrics seem in order as heater fan blows, oor windows go up and down, nterior light goes on, gnition light comes on, tarter spins, tc. I didn’t check everything though. Car needs total nut & bolt restoration (chassis, nterior, xterior, tc.). Car rolls freely and shifts into gears to hold car in place. Check pictures very carefully. What you see is what you get. There are some extra odds and ends parts included (starter, enerator, ir box, tc.). Comes with transferable clear open signed title from original family. Please remember that this is an "antique" vehicle 46 years old. It needs TOTAL restoration and is consistent with a vehicle with this mileage, ge and use. Car is available for pre-bid inspections and I would always encourage and welcome this. I am proud of my 100% excellent feedback score and always try to give accurate descriptions so that there are no surprises or disappointments. I am open and receptive torealisticoffers considering all that is included. Those with less than ten (10) or negative feedback history do NOT bid unless you contact me and communicate first, therwise your bids will be retracted and bidder banned from further bidding. The winning bid is NOT a right of first refusal, ut a commitment to purchase the vehicle regardless of anything, o a non-refundable deposit via PayPal is required within 24 hours of auction ending and arrangements to be made for pickup of item. Vehicle is listed "for sale" by other venues and media, o I reserve the right to terminate the listing at any time. Will sell world-wide, ut any and all shipping/transport arrangements to be made and paid for by winning bidder/buyer.
