This RX7 is in generally good condition and is being sold as is. While the car has a little over 90K miles. there are no major mechanical issues. It has a salvage title due to being hit in the back right corner by a teen who did not properly check for on-coming traffic (me) when pulling out onto the street. Consequently. the car was damaged and I turned the matter over to my insurance company. Due to the car's age and relatively low book value. the insurance company chose to "total" the car in preference to repairing it. They gave me a check for the car's value. Because I enjoyed driving the car I used the payment to have the car properly repaired. I continued driving it using the newly obtained salvage title. The damage to the car was only to the sheet metal in the area where it was struck. and after repairs. the car looked and operated just fine. These repairs were made in 2004 and the car had 86. 00 miles on the odometer at the time. I have since retired from work and bought an RV to travel and having no further use for the car. I decided to sell it. The only current maintenance in need of attention is a worn throw-out bearing for the clutch/transmission. The air-conditioning works. but does need freon. In addition. the driver's and passenger's side windows need new rubber seals. Beyond that. the car is good to go. The brakes are relatively new and have little wear and the tires are in very good condition. It has had the fuel pump replaced and also has a new starter. The plugs are good and the plug wires are relatively new.
