This is my personal car. I bought it roughly 2yrs ago and must sell do to an unexpected move that'll find me with limited space- I buy and sell 2 or 3 older german cars per year as sort of a hobby- Consequently. I've found some great cars over the years. That said. I consider this car the best find I ever made. Furthermore in my opinion (and many others) the W 140s are the best S Class Mercedes has ever made. I've owned 3 W140s in past 10yrs but hadn't had one for a few years when I set out to specifically find a S320 in this particular color combo- I spent the better part of a year searching before finding this car- Clearly a Garage Queen all it's lfe it was in even better condition than I thought once I recieved itNote the very high Auto Check score and history (attached) Clearly babied it's whole life- only explanation is that it's been a "Garage Queen" it's whole lifePrevious owner traded it in on a new Lexus 2 years ago car needs nothing- if I had $1000 credit at local Benz dealership I'm not sure what I'd have them dobrakes greattires almost newdoesn't leak a drop of oilall new rubber. belts. and even engine mounts under the hood when I bought itAC ice coldrock solid reliable- old school German Engineering radio and sound great and original interior 9. 5 / 10exterior 9. 0/10 (quality of paint excellent)excellent transmission arguably as safe as any production car ever made - if you've had a w140 you know the term "vault like"the storied Merecedes 320 engine runs like a top- 320s are bullet proof far more reliable than 500s / 420s (very good gas milage)I can't imagine the car being in any better shape back 1997 than it is now If you know these cars you know it's easy to buy one that immediately needs $1000's put into service- zero chance of that with this one (with these it's all about finding and buying a vey well kept - special one example like this one)If practical must see and drive to appreciate *even the trunk flip-out mechanism works perfect like it did in 1995 - these almost never worked after 5yrs or so
