1984 MERCEDES 280SL “EUROPEAN IMPORT, ICE CONDITION, ECHANICALLY EXCELLENT, UNS AND DRIVES WELL”

The Classic Car Gallery is proud to offer this 1984 Mercedes Benz 280sl. With just 101,540 miles, his lovely convertible is a great driver and would make a very stylish entree into the convertible world. The Blue paint is in nice condition, e would give it a rating of 7 out of 10. There are minor blemishes around the car and a small rust bubble on the bottom of the passenger door; all commensurate with the age and the mileage. This is a European import, nd as such is fitted with European Style headlights which include the euro “city lights” and the much more attractive “Euro bumpers”. The Grey leather interior shows well, nd the, nd the leather is smooth and supple. There is some minor fading on the door panels and the dash has some cracks. The M110 6-cylinder engine runs beautifully, nd the transmission shifts smoothly. The car received a full top end rebuild 20,000 miles ago, nd the engine has great compression, ower and torque. The car is mechanically excellent. Brakes are excellent and have less than 20,000 miles on new rotors and pads. Both the hard top and the soft convertible top are in good condition; the soft top is a vinyl replacement. The wheels are in nice condition, nd the tires have good life remaining. The european 280 SL did not come with A/C, he heat and venting works well. All the instrumentation works as it should. This car is a pleasure to drive. We have set the reserve low on this convertible, nd you can enjoy driving this classic “drive quality” no issues Mercedes for very little money. We have all DOT import paperwork, nd a Clean Connecticut title.
