1979 Mercedes-Benz 300d

Car runs great. The only trouble it has given me in 3 1/2 years is needing a new starter (which was replaced Dec 2014).
Vacuum locks on all doors and trunk work great.
Minor issues: It has a couple scratches and very minor small dents. The A/C does not work (Heater does). The radio antenna works, ut doesn't go all the way down. Replacement is around $80 but I never saw the need personally.
Light for gauges only work intermittently (it's controlled by the dial that changes the clock, nd it has to be just right). Probably a minor fix. I think there's a little $30 piece in the dash that would fix that problem easily.
New Optima battery was put in May 2013.
Transmission filter and fluid was replaced March 2013. I only put about 5300 miles on the car, ut the oil has been changed three times since I've owned it.


I do have a list of recommendations from a mechanic: ( I would like to stress "recommendations, s some may need to be done in the future, r even near future, ut none of them have caused any issues) Also, ome could possibly not be needed at all. I'm not a mechanic, o I'm not able to really verify them. I can say the car runs great as far as I'm concerned, nd none of the recommendations below seem to have an effect on the performance of the car.However, ut of the desire to be transparent, want to disclose the recommendations. I totally welcome anybody to have a mechanic of their choice take a look at the car. I think they will agree it is in good condition.
I did price the starting bid to reflect the possible need of some service in the future. I paid $7,500 for the car in 2012.
Recommendations: Front brake pads low, otors slightly worn, rake fluid flush, isc. oil leaks (normal for these cars per mechanic. car is garaged 95% of the time and there is only a small amount of oil on the ground), oolant system flush, ear differential service, ransmission mount worn.
-weak engine mounts, ront tie rods bent: while these may seem like big issues, 've been told they have probably been like this for 5+ years and probably won't need replacing anytime soon.
I can supply any additional pics if needed.
Also included are some supplies ( a couple oil, ir and fuel filters, ool for removing fuel lines, ew style fuses I never put in, nd some other misc items).
