The Mercedes-Benz W 113 is a two-seat roadster/convertible, ntroduced at the 1963 Geneva Motor Show, nd produced from 1963 through 1971. It replaced both the legendary 300 SL and the 190 SL. Of the 48,912 W113 SLs produced, 9,440 were sold in the US and of the 19K+ 230SLs produced, ess than a quarter were sold in the US.

Today the first version but last productions of the 230SLs are very rear to find in great condition for a reasonable price.
Besides the enjoying driving experience, he price for these roadsters are continuously going up and therefore a great investment.

This exceptional, eautiful and rebuilt example of this 2 owner 66’ MercedesBenz 230SL HARDTOP CONVERTIBLE original GERMAN delivery with itsattractivecolor combination was driven by the 2nd owner for the last 35 years only on sunny California weekends.

The whole time it has been meticulously cared for and fully maintained.
The 2nd owner purchased the SL from the original owner that was an Air Force pilot in GERMANY.
This unique Mercedes that was hand built in Germany and comes with hand books, ts history and still the original restored instrument cluster, reads in Kilometers).
Just the look of it and the driving feeling tells you that in the last 35 years the excessive amount of $$$ spent on repairs, aintenance und updates are justified.
This roadster has a rebuilt original matching #'s engine and transmission.
The odometer reads 29,066 miles and is in great working condition as all the other cluster instruments.
The navy blue leather interior incl. seat springs were replaced not to long ago and are in great condition with no rips or tears.
There are no cracks or rips on the dashboard and the wood.
The working BECKER MEXICO CASSETTE radio (very rear, pgraded at that time) and all manualscome with the car.
The vehicle has been professionally repainted in this attractive horizon (304) / midnight blue (904) color combination.
There are no signs of rust or accidents and the body is strait, olid and extremely re-presentable.
The doors and the trunk close nicely with no extra effort.
The trunk has a spare wheel, ack and right tool in the trunk.
The chrome all over the car has been rebuilt or replaced as well as a very nice, ontrasting light gray color carpet, ick panels incl. seals (doors, indows, runk etc.,)
The soft top has no rips and closes flawlessly.
The rebuilt engine is extremely strong and responsive with excellent oil pressure and no oil leaks and which sounds absolutely magnificent, he transmission shifts smoothly through all the gears and the engine temperature always remains cool and it does not smoke or leak oil and the brakes, uspension and tires are superb.
The overhauled, ot affected by temperature or altitude, span>fuel-injector pump works fine with no fuel leaks.
The differential is still tight as the overall drivingexperiencewith this Mercedes.
