We are selling our '03 SL500. Here is the story. We bought this car 2 months agoto replace our '81 380SL. The reason being because my partner can no longer give me help to remove the hardtop and it has become difficult. We opted to buy this '03 because it has an automatic hardtop. Well....the '81 380SL still has not sold.I guess the smarter thing to have done would have beento wait til the '81 sold, hen buy a replacement, ut we didn't do that, ur mistake. We don't have the room to store 3 vehicles and I don't want this one sitting outside. So since the '81 has not sold we decided to list the '03 for sale to see if it gets more action then the other one. We love both cars but due to functionality the '03 works best but due to financial reasons one of these cars has to go....so we are now trying the '03. The car is absolutely great.....it has always been maintained by MBZ dealerships. MBZ has all the maintenance records on the car. We just put in 2 new MBZ batteries in the car and we also added a new DVD, elease date 2010, or the Navigation system. The DVD covers Ca, z, i.Nov.2015 the SBC reservoir was replaced along with the front torque strut ball joints and rods, o the tune of$3,354.24 at a MBZ dealership. We also just bought a new 18layer car cover for the car that will go with it. This car looks and drives beautifully. It is a shame to list it for sale,,,but we have to look at numbers. We have a clear, lean title and would be happy to assist anyone with any questions or concerns about the car. Please call, 16-217-4275. or email with any questions. We will assist in any way possible.Which ever car sells first, e are keeping the other one. Thanks for looking and we appreciate your interest. I added some more photos today. 2 of them show very minor scratches.
