1985 Mercedes Benz 300CD

1985 300CD Turbo Diesel W123 Coupe – For Sale by Owner. Daily Driver with approximately 245,000. Instrument cluster replaced by previous owner(which I still have )when speedometer stopped working. All gauges work now except odometer. All exterior lights work. Interior lights work. As you can see from the photos the vehicle has very minor rust. No indication of any accidents. Body is very solid. Paint is faded, ocker panels are solid body rubber is fair. Jack points in rocker are solid with original covers still intact. Trunk is void of rust even in the wells. Only rust is rear passenger floor pan, hich is typical of all the 123 chassis and was treated with POR 15. Vacuum system partially operates so engine will turn off just fine but locks must be operated manually and transmission can shift hard when low on vacuum. Rear axles should be replaced soon. Heat/defroster is fine. No A/C. No radio. Engine starts and runs very well. Good oil pressure. Small typical oil leaks. New alternator, elt and battery installed last fall. Tires are two years old with plenty of tread. Rims are in good shape. Windows and sunroof work fine except drivers rear which must be operated manually. Interior is intact and solid but showing its age. Front dashboard is in very good shape. On the highway, ar is very smooth at 65+ speeds. Overall a very nice 30 year old 123 Coupe for daily driver, estoration or whatever you need. Have had car for two years. Selling because I purchased a W124.
