Garage kept , Well maintained 1979 450 SL

A well maintained vehicle with many new parts in the recent year. Originally a California car until 1995 it went to Tenessee, 2004 to Ohio (garaged) and in 2014 moved to New York and has been garaged since. Comes in a rare, one year paint option of Milan brown metallic with bamboo interior. Paint is all original minus the front left fender and hood. The interior is 75% as it was used as a daily driver after receiving a restoration in 2004. Dash is original and has no cracks. At the time of the restoration the speedometer was replaced due to a failed odometer and the new shown mileage is currently ~ 37000. Regularly serviced every 5000 miles and with a top end rebuild 40,000 miles ago. Has original k-jet system including rare cast iron fuel injector system. Included are original radio, first aid kit, jack and tool set. Also included are right side door trim and Nardi steering wheel (original in trunk). Soft top is water tight but needs to be replaced if going to be regularly used. There is rust in the left front fender due to a poor repair job following a small fender bender. I was quoted 1300$ to replace and repaint along with the hood. Only selling this car due to an inability to give it the attention it needs to be a proper show car again.
