Beautiful, well maintained, Powerful Diesel Mercedes. This is a 6 Cylinder 3.5L Aluminum Block+Head Diesel engine.. I have owned the car since November 2013 when I bought the car from the proverbial little old lady.. I know she was "little" because extra support was put into the drivers seat and a 2" extension" was added to the accelerator pedal! The drivers seat has NO wear! I have all of the maintenance records since new. She spared no expense maintaining the vehicle. I have the original window sticker.
Around 80,000 the owner had a new "long block" installed which is really important because these models had an engine design flaw that lead to catastrophic engine failure....not "if" but "when".
Since I've owned it (30,000 of use) I've had the front suspension "rebuilt". Brake rotors and pads replaced. Belt tensioner replaced New CD player/stereo system. I had the front and rear "bumper covers" sanded, primed and repainted. They both look beautiful!
I just had 4 new tires installed.
It runs great on 100% Bio-Diesel....but it's pretty scarce so I don't run it often.
The "Bad":
The "Cruise Control" does not work and I've never even thought of having it fixed. The "memory" function on the drivers seat does not work...BUT all of the adjustment switches work perfectly.
The center console wood is cracked...but everything works (see photos). There are some spots where the "clear coat" is pealing..but it's almost unnoticeable.
So that's about it
Contact me with any questions. It's a great car will cruise all day at 80-85...and the "fuel" mileage is quite good.
In my opinion the Black Pearl exterior is the nicest color in the Benz lineup!
