1968 Mercury Cyclone GT 500 Fastback. Originally came with a 390ci 2BBL V8 and automatic transmission. It was originally white with red bucket seats and a red stripe down the side. The engine, transmission, and hood are missing but everything else is there including the glass and seats. It would make a great David Pearson #21 clone or restore it to original.
The body has shallow dents all throughout the body. I think almost all of them can be popped out with a little heat. The quarters and rockers all look pretty good. It will need two long floor pans but the trunk looks to be in pretty good shape. There might be a few small holes once you blast it though. The worst area is rust up under the cowl screen/cover in the firewall. This will have to be cut out and replaced. Luckily the screen/cover is removable. (see pics)
Both door glass, the dash pad (cracked), and the brake booster come with car.
I have included pics of another 1968 Cyclone GT to show what this car COULD be when restored.
Let me know if you have any questions.
