1987 Volkswagen Jetta GLI Mk2

I am selling my rare Mk2 dream, 87 GLI.
Unlike most today, his survivor is completely original and unmolested. The only modification that this car has is a Panasonic CD Player (works perfect)and Kicker speakers, one by the original owner in the 1990s. It has the original 1.8 8 valve motor, t is in great shape and runs very smooth. It is an original California car, ith 1980s blue California plates that are on the car. The paint is original is not perfect, ut shines very nice and is in good shape. The interior is also where the car stands out, s it is well taken care of. Working sunroof without any leaks. Running the original suspension in smooth condition, n the original 14 inch bottle cap wheels. All glass is original to the car, xcept the windshield which was replaced sometime is past years.

Things to note:-cluster stopped working last year, howing 142,xxx miles-seats have small minimal tears-dash has 1 minor crack-below the windshield on the outside there is a random rust spot -require to give it gas for about5-8 seconds when starting on cold mornings-I have misplaced the trunk key, o it does not lock at the moment (new locks with keys can be purchased thru eBay at a reasonable price)-AC needs to be recharged

This rare car has been daily driven all over Los Angeles on both freeway and streets with no problems. The 8v engine runs very well and is great on gas and idles very nice, ery reliable car. % speed tranny shifts smooth. Electrical is in good shape. Brakeswork great.Does not overheat. Work has been done at R&R Performance VW Speed Shop. I have receipts for all my purchases. Clean California title in my name. Passed smog with flying colors. Took me years to findthisparticular modelin good running condition and well taken care of. Also took me lots of searching to find all the rare accessories.This time capsule is turn key ready to go.
