Description

1970 Oldsmobile 442 W-30 Automatic ConvertibleOriginal twilight blue 70k mile car. very solid and dry. Broadcast Sheet. Protect-O-Plate. nbsp;Power Steering Power Disk BrakesNumbers matching born with engine. fresh rebuild. yet to fire. Joe Mondello rebuild on the original F cylinder HeadsOriginal W and Z exhaust manifolds. nbsp;Original intake manifoldcarb (on a shelf somewhere) no promises. distributorWas a very nice #3 one repaint original car when I bought it long ago. Drove it for years with no issues even ice cold a/c. Changed oil a few years ago noticed the nylon timing gear was starting to degrade. had motor and trans 0 timed. Decided to get the car painted. and put a new top on it about a year and a half ago. never happened. Body shop went out of business and I put the car in storage. not happy about the situation. Won't take but a day to get her running and drivable again. I decided I was going to change the car from a bench seat to buckets and console. I have a set of bucket seats for it. Car has never been off the frame and has all original body panels. Basically you need to paint it. put a exhaust on it. and a top. and you got a nice #2 car worth about 100k. The car has a mint original interior. original carpets. ect. Body is super solid and original with a little filler in one fender. thats about it. Numbers matching motor and trans. the rear end is a 3. 23 posi. if it's original to the car or not. I do not remember. This is what I want for the car. that's it. I'll get it. They made 168 of these. Less than 100 are left. This is maybe one of 20 or so with the original drivetrain and documentation. The drivetrain is fresh and 0 timed. I cataloged all the parts on the car after it came back from the body shop. The hood magically disappeared. there was a magician with sticky fingers over there. besides that. I think everything is there. A good OEM piece is about $2500. If you spend 10 grand on this car. it'd be worth 100k all day long. This car leaves a bad taste in my mouth about the body shop. Don't ask me to finish it for you for 10k. I don't want to finish the car. MORE PICTURES ARE COMING TOMORROWCall me anytime 312 622 7533
