Description

THIS CAR IS LOCATED IN GUAM- I HAVE REDUCED THE PRICE SIGNIFICANTLY - SHIPPING FROM GUAM IS $2750 TO LONG BEACH PORT USING MATSON SHIPPING. I will ensure car is at Matson Port in Guam for shipping to the successful buyer. My company has transferred me so I am selling the car. Now about the car. 1970 Oldsmobile 442 - Model Sport Coupe -34477 - 1 of 1644 ever made. This car has its original paperwork including the original build sheet. Showing the car being shipped to Money Oldsmobile in Phoenix. Arizona. I purchased the car from Arizona ( I have a copy of the previous owner title out of Arizona) The previous owner had the car since 1984 and was the 2nd owner. The car spent its entire life in Arizona. which accounts for it being absolutely rust free. This car was a great find. the entire underside is rust free. no crusting. nbsp;no patches or pin holes or soft areas. I have owned probably 20+ Investment grade Collectable Oldsmobile's and this is the cleanest car out of them all. The paint is a 9 out of 10. Interior is a 8 of 10. After I purchased the car it was then shipped to Guam which is a tropical climate. I have owned the car for about 7 months and not planning to sell until I was transferred by my company. It has its original 455. original heads. carb was replaced in the mid 80's with another q-jet so it is not original. Back in the mid 80's people did not think of keeping original equipment. I was told it was a trade-in for a newly rebuilt carb. Trans and rear end (limited slip posi) are original. Both the engine and trans were professionally rebuilt and run great. Has electronic ignition but I have the original points distributor in the trunk. Original rear bumper has a few bumps and dings. front bumper is much nicer. It has air shocks to accommodate the lager wheels and tires. but car will come to you with the original SS II wheels which came on the car. Options include working a/c. system was rebuilt as it was in the Arizona heat so AC was a necessity. Wipers. Original AM/FM stereo works. Interior has no rips tears or missing items. Carpet was replaced with a near original (larger Loom) look but I would change to a more original carpet. This car has the crank vent windows (77 model) which I love. Interior has strato bucket seats with floor shift console. The original SS II wheels come on the car. Clear photo of buildsheet is in listing so you can review options. I am listing this car for cheap as I must sell it and you must pay to ship it. There is nothing wrong with the car. you will be pleasantly surprised. if I was lisiting this car in the states I would think it could get at least 20K for its condition and originality. You can contact me anytime. (847-302-4788) Jon. and will be always available to help and keep buyer up todate about shipment out of Guam. Bid with confidence and I really hope it goes to Olds guy who will appreciate the deal they will be getting here. Forgot to mention I had Hotchkis Springs (front and back) installed. It sits about 1. 5" lower than stock and handles much better.
