Rare! 1991 Oldsmobile 442. W40-High Output "quad 4" engine. 5 Speed! CLEAN!

Up for sale is a very rare and original 1991 Oldsmobile 442. This car is a one owner car. and is quite the collectible. This car is one of 1297 "W-40 442s" that were made. along with this being 1 of the 90 that were made in white. This is a very clean survivor. wearing all of its factory paint and upholstery. The 5 speed manual transmission in this car gives it even more of that sporty feel. The car runs flawless. as I have done a major tune-up to it within the last 200 miles. I have all receipts and registration/insurance cards since new. all in the original owner's name. nbsp;including the factory "order sheet" and the pink slip in his name as well. The title is clean. Despite its few cosmetic flaws. this car is a blast to drive and admire. The A. C very blows cold. The car is quiet and comfortable. All lights. indicators. gauges. cruise control etc. work without a problem. The engine is the famous "quad 4 High Output" boasting a factory 180HP. This is a great car to drive. nbsp;as it glides down the freeway and hugs the corners. It has no vibrations and drives straight as an arrow. The car has only had a few very tasteful modifications done to it; a nice Pontiac AM-FM-CD player. which looks very at-home in the dash and puts out amazing sound quality. the fuel injectors are a slightly larger size from the W-41 Oldsmobile 442. and the exhaust is a full header back. California legal 2. 75" with a Flowmaster dual tip muffler. Has a high-flow catalytic converter also (the car has a good exhaust tone. but is not very loud. Going down the freeway is still whisper quiet in the cabin). The owner is an older man. who had gotten a bit old to drive a manual. The car has always been garage kept in California and is completely rust free. aside from a small spot on the passenger side. below the quarter-window glass. and it is purely surface rust. The major tune up. as I had mentioned earlier includes the following: new fuel filter. all new vacuum hoses. oil change (the owner told me he has always used Mobil 1 synthetic. since new) so that is what I had put back into the car. including a new oil filter. Autolite spark plugs. new transmission fluid (G. M syncro-mesh). new radiator (along with full coolant flush. and 160F thermostat. and new antifreeze). The car runs amazing. and needs nothing to be daily driven. No leaks. no ticks. Hop in. turn the key. and enjoy. All four tires match. and are in very good condition with bout 70% tread. The car cruises down the freeway at 65 M. P. H while doing about 2400 R. P. M. The car runs all day at about 155F. even on a warm California day. The 5 speed has a very short throw. and works seamlessly. The motor had been replaced in 1996. when the car had 91. 00 miles on it. It was replaced under warranty at the G. M dealership where the car had been originally purchased. The clutch was replaced at the same time. Now the car has 131. 00 miles. The owner had told me that he used to commute for work from San Jose to Las Vegas often. so the mileage is mainly freeway. The interior is extremely nice. the seats looks like new. and the upholstery shows very little wear. The worst of the wear. being under the driver's floor mat. is a spot in the carpet about 2. 5" in diameter. Please observe the pictures closely. the paint still looks very good for its age. but does have a couple of the usual dings. as any 24 year old car would. This car has never been in an accident. and is in very good cosmetic and mechanical shape.
