She's powerful. smooth and quiet. just a pleasure on the highway cruising along at 75. Recent master cylinder and brake work including booster and master cylinder. new muffler. valve cover gaskets. high output distributor from a 70's Cutlass (no points to mess with) as well as a new set of tires. Road ready. she starts easy and is dependable. No leaks. garage floor always dry. No noises from anywhere. the 425 has that nice deep rumble. AM/FM radio works intermittently. Power top works easily with no help necessary. Cosmetic: Interior was redone by an upholstery shop that specializes in classics; seat vinyl with new cushioning. carpet. door panels. and a new convertible top. The Jetstar was painted about 20 years ago but could use a respray. she's presentable but the paint and bumpers are dull. The rear quarters were replaced when the car was painted. you can see the weld spots in the trunk shots. The front passenger floor was replaced at the same time. Otherwise the Olds is fine. frame. wheel wells and trunk solid as seen in the pix. She's in nice driver condition overall. Cruises nicely on the highway. runs strong.
