This fantastic Convertible has only traveled 37. 02 miles since 1961 with only having three owners. The car has always been stored inside and has only had about 50 miles added in the last year. The original numbers matching 394ci V-8 bulletproof “Rocket 88” engine is still in the car and it runs great and is as quiet as a whisper! The original Hydra Drive transmission is also in the car and it shifts perfect. up and down. The car has several options such as Power steering. power brakes. power top. nbsp; outside right mirror. factory deluxe radio. etc. etc. and these were optional equipment on the Super 88. As you can see from one of the pictures all the additional options were listed along with the original prices. Although the convertible top is new on the Super 88. the entire interior is original and almost flawless as you can see from the pictures. The dashboard also shows as it did in 1961. All the gauges are original to the car and the only thing that does not work is the clock. The engine bay and trunk area as you can see in the pictures are virtually untouched. Note the firewall is also near perfect. The 61 Olds had one professional repaint was done several years ago in the original white color. The body of the Oldsmobile has no damage and is straight as an arrow. all the door and hood gaps line up perfect. The undercarriage of the car was undercoated when t was new. floors are rock solid. All the chrome is in like new condition. All the windows roll up and down nice and the glass is all in great condition.
