1950 Nash Super Statesman You are viewing a professionally built Nash with 11K miles since being completed. The build started in 99 and finished in 2008. Built by owner with great care and craftsmanship. A very unique ride that drives and runs strong and needs nothing. Please read on for more particulars of the car: Body/Paint: The body is primarily original style with exceptions in areas of customization. Headlight/turn light and tail lights along with 3rd brake light have been frenched. Custom louvered hood. It was a good car to begin with and finished to perfection. The body is very straight and prepped properly prior to paint. Custom rounded door corners and drip rail customized. The paint is PPG metallic silver over Corvette anniversary red pearl base/clear. The paint is in excellent condition with a few small chip repairs. Ron Francis wiring kit. Interior: Custom by C&B upholstery. The interior is very custom and comfortable for long road trips with all the feature comforts. Stock gauge pod with Classic instruments insert. Custom gauge panel with stock dash roll up door and full custom console. Vintage air AC. I did it tilt column with banjo style steering wheel. custom Kugel components 90 degree brake master and booster tucked under dash. power windows. power mirrors and cruise control. Kenwood stereo with 2 amps. ten inch sub and six speakers. Sounds awesome. Full reclining front seats with custom rear seat to fit between the wheel tubs. Running Gear: Full roller 350 bored 40 over with comp cam (mother thumper) and roller rockers. Edelbrock heads and manifold. 650 Thunder series carb. The engine is balanced and blue printed 10 to 1 compression and used pump gas. Over 400 HP. Engine has only 4K miles. Accell electronic distributor. Custom built equal length headers with electric cutouts. Custom 58 Rambler cowl induction air cleaner. Transmission is a TH 400 with shift kit with Gear Vendor Overdrive for good gas mileage. 2500 B&M stall converter with Hurst quarter stick shifter. Rear end is a strange housing Art Morrison 3rd member with 3. 55 gears. posi. Suspension: Custom made Art Morrison full channeled chassis front to back. Tubular Mustang II rack and pinion power front suspension with air bags front and rear. Narrowed Ford 9 inch with tubed rear. Bright work: Original and fully restored. Glass: All new and tinted. Rear window is original. Exhaust: 3 inch pipe tucked behind re contoured rocker panels with cutouts behind front tires. Sounds mean closed and open. Brakes: Front disc and rear drum. Stops excellent. Wheels/Tires: Wheels are Vintiques 15x6 front and 15x10 rear with BFG 205/60 R15 front and Hoosier Pro Street rear 29x15x50 with lots of rubber. Summary: Close to 3K hours were spent building this car and it shows. Great car that gets a lot of attention and has won it share of shows including Best in Show.
