Unrestored 1934 American Austin roadster. One of only a handful left unrestored in the World. This car was purchased new by my late Uncle. and was in his possession for the life of the automobile. During WWII. the lights were removed due to blackout restrictions. and were lost. The lights you see in the photos are not original to the car. just add-ons. Additionally. the rear bumper was removed at some point and is lost. Remaining soft goods and the top are also lost as well. however the frame and springs for the seat are included. The engine is free and turning. the drivetrain is intact. and the metal is in good condition. with no rot. The starter motor for the car is damaged. and not working at present. It has spent its life in a garage. and recently. has been lift stored at a mechanic's shop in RI. The sheet metal is in good shape for a car of its age. and relatively straight. This car has the original wheels on it. as well as the original tires. Photos show the actual condition as the vehicle currently sits. The car still has the original 6v power system. although the cloth covering the wires shows signs of burning at some point. possibly due to a jump from a 12v system? Please review the photos of the car. and contact me with any questions you may have. The car is located in Rhode Island. and can be viewed as well. Shipping arrangements can be made at the time of purchase. and are not included in the final sale price of the vehicle. Local Delivery is available in the New England area. This car is very unique. and certainly a piece of automobile history. See more details of the car at the Hemmings Site. Good Luck!! This is one of a handful of Austins left in the world. and one of the most complete originals left.
