This item is an Eshelman 1956 Childs Sports Car. Unrestored but. always stored inside. Used. Made by Eshelman Motor Co. of Baltimore. Maryland. 6. 28 cu. in. . 2 HP. 4. 5 ft long. No identification numbers. There are no doors as this model was made with cut-out on the side to aid with easy entry. Has heavy steel plate platform chassis of the earlier models as well as the cast nose with the "Toothy" cast grille. The cars had no suspension and obviated a differential by driving one rear wheel only. Hand throttle. Starts by recoil pull cord. Stopping the engine requires reaching into the compartment for a switch. No lighting. nbsp; Please view photos carefully.
