1967 International Harvester 1200 4 x 4 Travelette

If you have been trying to find a mid 60’s International 1200 4X4 Travelette that wasn’t beat to death. lifted. repainted 9 times and just flat out worn out. this is it. This 1967 still has its’ original IH factory red paint on it. The body is in great shape for starting it’s life out as a working farm truck. It does have its dents and scrapes. however for what it did for a living. its minimal. The most outstanding part of this truck is the rust factor. 99 percent of these trucks are plagued with rust in the cowl. THIS TRUCK DOES NOT HAVE COWL RUST!!!! . The rust issues are with the bed. The front of the box behind the rare factory in bed spare tire carrier and the stake pockets. As best as I can tell. this all was lack of cleaning out the hay or wood bark after use. As far as the cab goes. there’s a small amount just starting to show on the back of the bottom of the cab. The only other rust is just surface rust on the front floor boards. NO HOLES. ( POR- 15. paint. done) The running condition of this truck is great. Let’s start with the fact that this truck has only 62. 00 original mile on it! The truck is powered by a 304 V8 and backed by a 4 speed trans. The truck was also equipped with a power lock rear differential that works great. This truck had the typical old gas issues that I took care of. The gas tank was flushed and replaced old cracked fuel lines rebuilt factory Holley carb. I also removed the non factory extra gas tank and removed extra fuel lines. The electrical system has been sorted ( bad connections. burnt out bulbs and bad sending units) and repaired. All of the gauges read as they should even the gas gauge works. Steering is good. the brakes work well and tires are in good shape with lots of tread on them. The right rear door has some body damage( still work though ) but a good replacement door comes with the truck. This truck is a perfect candidate for the full resto or drive and enjoy as is with the factory paint and patina. The truck always turns heads and gets compliments and the occasional sneer from the Prius owner. Bid with confidence. this is a nice truck.
