NO RESERVE AUCTION - HIGH BIDDER WILL OWN THIS CAR!This is a 1962 Studebaker Gran Turismo (GT) Hawk. Car is a barn find. Engine is a 289 V8 and is currently set up with a normally aspirated carburetor. However on the engine is the bracket and pulley for the supercharger which is included in the sale and includes the manifold. carburetor. carburetor box cover. supercharger. pulleys. brackets and supercharger belt. Car was originally an automatic and was converted in its past to a 4 speed. I do not know how well the car drives - all I can attest to is that the gas tank was cleaned out. the engine runs great. the car drives in first and reverse. the brakes work and the gauges (rpm. speedo. oil pressure) move. Also the lights and wipers work and the heater fan blows. There is also a heater under the passenger seat. I rekeyed all the keys and have the keys for the ignition. doors and trunk. The car will start when the coil is shorted to the battery and the starter solenoid is jumped. The engine will turn off with the key. I think a wire is incorrectly hooked up to the ignition. but have not had time to play. I am missing the trim piece that goes on the drivers side rocker panel and the small trim piece that goes on the passenger side by the rear side window as well as the trunk piece that goes on the rear of the trunk - I believe i have all other trim for the car. The interior needs the door panels but I am including brand new covers for front seats. rear seat. armrest. console and console cover The passenger seat cover has been installed and can be seen in the photo. Car has had rust in the past and the floor was replaced as well as some body panels evidenced by rivets. The car is currently in primer which looks good as a 20 footer but will need to be sanded and touched up prior to paint. I also am including the radio. a spare visor. a spare steering wheel which is in great condition but is blue and needs to be painted black and an extra 4-SPEED transmission.
